Alex McNeill Vista Scholarship First Generation

An undergraduate, graduate, or teaching credential student pursuing a career in Teacher Education.
(Undergraduates enrolled in Early Childhood Studies, Liberal Studies or Teaching & Learning Program; Graduates enrolled in the Master of Education or Master of Educational Leadership Program; Credential students enrolled in the Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Special Education, Bilingual Authorization or Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Programs)
Must be First Generation College student (FGCS, meaning college students who come from a family in which no parent or guardian holds a bachelor’s degree)
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units (9 units for Nursing and 8 units for Graduate students) each semester.
Must have a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application on file for the upcoming academic year.
All students must complete the scholarship application by the deadline.
