The General Scholarship Application for the 2025-2026 award year at California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) opens on October 1, 2024, at 12:00 A.M. (PST). The priority deadline for applications is March 2, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. (PST). Students who submit their applications by this date will receive priority consideration. To provide additional opportunities, we have extended the final application deadline to April 2, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. (PST). Applications submitted between March 3 and April 2, 2025, will still be reviewed, but priority will be given to those submitted by the March 2 deadline.

We encourage all eligible students to apply as early as possible to maximize their scholarship opportunities.

The 2025-2026 Scholarship Application filling period is October 1, 2024, 12:00 A.M. (PST) to April 2, 2025, 11:59 P.M. (PST).

Welcome to the California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) Scholarship Portal! The scholarships listed below are CSUCI Scholarships offered by various private donors, community members, and departments throughout the University. Click on the scholarship name to learn more about that opportunity.

To apply to any of the CSUCI scholarships listed below, click the “Sign In” button on this page to begin. You must sign in using your myCI login to begin your application.

The Personal Essay should be 200-500 words and submitted by the deadline. Please note that Letters of Recommendation are no longer required. Applicants can disregard the Reference tab at the top of the webpage.

Once you complete your General Application, the system will automatically match you with all scholarships in which you meet the basic criteria. Meeting the criteria means you will be entered into the pool of applicants for a particular scholarship. It does not guarantee you will receive a scholarship.

The system will also provide a drop-down menu of opportunities for you to review, which include:

–Recommended: These are currently open scholarships that you may be recommended to review because you appear to meet the basic criteria. Typically, these scholarships have additional questions or criteria you must meet to apply.
–Ours: Lists all CSUCI Scholarships, excluding external scholarships.
–External: This list of scholarships is from non-CSUCI scholarship organizations. They have their own application and deadlines. For more information, click on their hyperlink.

PLEASE NOTE:
To be considered for CSUCI Scholarships, you must either file a 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a 2025-2026 California Dream Act Application (CADAA). You are not required to complete both. If you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, you must file a 2025-2026 FAFSA at https://studentaid.gov. If you are an eligible AB540 student, you must file a 2025-2026 CADAA at https://dream.csac.ca.gov.
