Alumni and Friends Association Student Scholarship

This scholarship’s theme is to promote the concept of “giving back.” The scholarship will be merit-based.
The scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate (juniors or seniors only) and one graduate-level student that best meets the criteria set forth here.
The student must have demonstrated community involvement through civic engagement (please provide examples and please note that this involvement can be on-campus or external). The student must write a 300-word minimum essay on, “How will you support CSU Channel Islands as an alumnus (after graduation)?”
Must be an Undergraduate or Graduate Student
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must be enrolled in full-time (12 units) for both the Fall and Spring term (8 Units for Graduate students).
Must be a U.S. Resident, Permanent Resident, or AB-540 eligible.
Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) on file for the upcoming academic year.
All students must complete the scholarship application by the deadline.
