Alumni & Friends Association Endowed Student Scholarship

This scholarships theme is to promote the concept of “giving back.” The scholarship will be merit-based. The student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The scholarship will be awarded to two undergraduates (juniors or seniors only) and two graduate level students that best meet the criteria set forth here.
The student must have demonstrated community involvement through civic engagement (please provide examples and please note that this involvement can be on-campus or external). The student must write a 300-word minimum essay on, “How will you support CSU Channel Islands as an alumnus (after graduation)?”

Must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units (9 units for Nursing students and 8 units for Graduate students) each semester.
Must be a Undergraduate or Graduate Student
Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or an eligible AB540 student.
Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) on file for the upcoming academic year.
All students must complete the scholarship application by the deadline.
