Daniel Lee Memorial Scholarship (for International Engagement)

Students must be enrolled for at least one semester at the CSUCI Study Abroad program for the upcoming year. Dr. Lee, whom the scholarship is named for, believed that international experiences and music were important components to his formal and informal education. Student must answer:1) How do you intend to exemplify this (Dr. Lee’s belief) as a student that is intending to study abroad? 2) In addition, please tell us what you hope to study and how your chosen study abroad location will benefit your studies. 3)Tell us what you might like to give back to CSUCI for facilitating your study abroad experience, and how you may be able to apply this experience to further Dr. Lee’s legacy at CSUCI – especially in the Sociology, Music related fields, and International Programs?

Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must demonstrate financial aid need.
Open to Undergraduate students only.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or an eligible AB540 student.
Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) on file for the upcoming academic year.
All students must complete the scholarship application uploaded by the deadline.
