Alumni & Friends Association Endowed Student Scholarship

This scholarships theme is to promote the concept of “giving back.” The scholarship will be merit-based. The student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. The scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate junior or senior and one graduate level student that best meets the criteria set forth here. The student must have demonstrated community involvement through civic engagement (please provide examples and please note that this involvement can be on-campus or external). The student must write a 300-word minimum essay on, “How will you support CSU Channel Islands as an alumnus (after graduation)?”
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 15 units (9 units for Graduate and Nursing students) each semester.
Must be a Undergraduate or Graduate Student
Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or an eligible AB540 student.
Must have a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application on file for the upcoming award year.
All students must complete the scholarship application with two letters of recommendation uploaded by the deadline.
