The Crankstart Scholarship Program for California Community College Transfer Students

  • Eligible to a full or part-time Undergraduate pursuing their first baccalaureate degree (any major). Must have transferred from a California Community College in the last four years. Must demonstrate financial need, socio-economic status challenges and/or hardships, academic qualifications, achievement and promise, and a commitment to obtain their degree. Scholarship awards must be applied to student tuition only.
    Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units each semester.
    Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.50 or greater.
    Must be a U.S. Resident, Permanent Resident, or AB-540 eligible.
    Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) on file for the upcoming academic year.
    All students must complete the scholarship application by the deadline.
    Disclaimer: Students who are eligible for the Cal Grant A or B or the State University Grant may not be eligible to receive the Crankstart Scholarship.
